Appleton is a city located in the state of Wisconsin, in the United States of America. Appleton is located in the county of Outagamie but also borders the counties of Calumet and Winnebago. The population of Appleton, as of 2017 was 74,653 and it is the 6th largest city in Wisconsin. Appleton is located 110 miles north of Madison, the capital of Wisconsin and is situated just above Lake Winnebago.
