All you need to know about Walsall

Walsall is a town in England’s West Midlands County. It’s situated eight miles from Birmingham and six miles from Wolverhampton. The town has a population of more than 67,000 and serves as the administrative hub for wider Metropolitan Borough of Walsall. The language spoken is English and the main currency used is the British Pound. The name Walsall is a play on the word “Walh Halh”, which today translates to, “Valley of the Welsh Speakers”. Whilst Walsall’s origins are disputed, the town is thought to have been founded as early as the 11th century.
