Abertillery is a large town in Wales. Part of the Ebbw Fach
valley, it borders Brecon Beacons National Park, and is located roughly 25
miles from Cardiff by car.
Albertillery has a traditional look and feel characterised
by quaint Victorian architecture. Back in the early 19th century the
town experienced an industry boom led by coal mining and light engineering businesses.
These days, many of its old buildings remain and can be visited freely.
Landmarks include the Six Bells Mining Memorial, National Coal Museum and
Blaenavon Ironworks. For those into nature, Abertillery offers its fair share
of green spaces like the Cwmtillery Lakes and Pontypool Park. Other sites worth

The town also plays host to a number of business parks, home to employers like
Tyleri Valley Foods.
